Oshun is one of the most beloved Yoruba deities. When respected and properly invoked, she holds the keys to love, success, and pregnancy. If you would like to work with Oshun It is seriously recommend that you first ask the spirit if you may work together. She will give you many signs if she choses to work with you, she is very loyal to her followers when they follow her instructions. There are different possibilities of signs – seeing bees are a sure sign, alligators and a few other signs or symbols will appear. Oshun is particularly attracted to working with those who seek Love and Fertility, her charm is infectious and be sure to make an offering to Eshu when working with any Orisha.

Use these color candles in spells for power or as offerings and petitions to Oshun. Use red for passionate love, pink for romance or friendship, black for banishing or protection, green for fertility or prosperity, blue for tranquility or reconciliation, purple for power and mastery, yellow for fame or happiness, orange for removing blocks and white for blessing or any other purpose, Gold for success.
Rituals For Oshun:
RITUAL OFFERING FOR FERTILITY
You’ll need: 1 pumpkin, 1 yellow Oshun candle, 1 pencil, 1 brown paper bag, honey, in addition a photo representation of the goddess can also be included.
Directions: Light the yellow candle in front of a sculpture or image Oshun for five days. (Make sure you put the candle in a safe place. If you plan on leaving it unattended, blow it out, but light it again as soon as you return.) Tell her your wishes, preferably out loud so she can hear you. After lighting the candle, make a round opening on top of your pumpkin. Write the same wishes you told Oshun on a piece of brown paper bag with a pencil. Put it inside the pumpkin and seal the top with candle wax. Place the pumpkin over your stomach and ask Oshun to help you conceive. Afterwards, take your pumpkin to the nearest river as an offering. Let your candle burn itself out.
RITUAL OFFERING FOR PROSPERITY
You’ll need: 5 oranges, 1 yellow candle, 1 white plate, cinnamon, honey, and like above in addition a photo representation of the goddess can also be included.
Directions: Light the yellow candle in front of a sculpture or image of Oshun for five days. (Make sure you put the candle in a safe place. If you plan on leaving it unattended, blow it out, but light it again as soon as you return.) Tell her your wishes, preferably out loud so she can hear you. Place the oranges on the white plate. Pour several drizzles of honey over the oranges. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Leave this, together with the yellow candle, throughout the five days. Put the plate in front of Oshun. When the days are up, you may dispose of the offering.
Ways to use our candle:
Dress the candle with Oshun Oil, or Honey and then sprinkle with Love Powder or any Powders associated with your desire for working with Oshun before lighting for your intention.
