The son of Shiva and Parvarti, Ganesha, the elephant-headed god, is one of the most powerful, peaceful, and wisest of all Indian gods. With his large elephant ears to hear all, his trunk symbolizing strength, and his large head representing wisdom, he is worshiped as the god of prosperity, fortune and success.
